Odisha NEET counselling 2021 is the state centralized Online counselling process. The counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in institutes across the state will be conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell on behalf of the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Bhubaneswar. The counselling will be conducted for admission to the 85% state quota MBBS/BDS seats offered by the government/private institutions of this state. Candidates who qualify NEET 2021 domiciled in Odisha, can apply for the Odisha MBBS/BDS counselling. Such candidates must register themselves online on the official website of OJEE, ojee.nic.in.
The authorities will conduct counselling for Odisha MBBS 2021 in offline mode starting from the last week of July 2021The counselling will be based on one's NEET Scorecard and managed by the OJEE. However the candidate can apply through online mode only. The online counselling and allotment of seats is conducted by the counselling board with the help of NIC (National Informatics Centre).
OJEE NEET 2021 counselling will be conducted in three rounds. The mop-up round will be conducted only if any seats are left vacant after the third round of Odisha NEET counselling 2021. Counselling for Odisha MBBS 2021 will be conducted for admission to around 1950 MBBS and 363 BDS seats in private and government colleges across Odisha.
The spot round seat allocation result has been declared for Odisha NEET 2021 spot round counselling. The spot round counselling was held in offline mode on April 6 and April 7.
Registration and application process To participate in the counselling of Odisha NEET 2021, Candidates must go to the official website, ojee.nic.in. Registrations usually follow the announcement of NEET result. The entire application process can be divided into six steps:
After the successful submission of the NEET counselling
registration form, the conducting body will release the list of the
registered candidates whose applications will be accepted.
Candidates whose names will be included in the list have to report
to the document verification centres if needed otherwise the
documents verification will be done online. After the document
verification process, the candidates have to fill their choice of
colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted
candidates will be then released for the first round of seat
allotment. After this, the subsequent counselling rounds will take
place depending upon the cut off and availability of seats.
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell, release the list of the eligible candidates eligible for the counselling process. Students who had not completed the verification of documents would not be eligible to be on the merit list.
Step 2: Choice Locking/Filling-
Once the counseling fee is paid the applicant has an option to choose the college he want to take admission in, the option will be categorically in the manner of their preference. Before selecting the college an applicant must have all the details about the college as the seat allotment is based on his choice selection.
Step 3: Allotment of Seat-
in mind the government reservation policy the seats were allotted to the candidates as per their ranks and choices filled by them. A list of candidates who had registered for Odisha NEET 2021is released by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell.
Step 4: Reporting at the college allotted to
After the allotment of the seats in the preferred medical college, the applicant must report to the college failing to which his seat will be forfeited and given to the next in line applicant.
