In the year 2002, Chitkara Educational Trust established its Punjab
campus 30 kilometres from Chandigarh, on the Chandigarh–Patiala
National Highway. In the year 2010 Chitkara University was
established by the Punjab State Legislature under "The Chitkara
University Act".
The sprawling campus of the University is
equidistant from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ambala and Patiala.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualifiy the Aptitude Test (NATA ) with pass percentage in 10+2 scheme of examination with PCM or pass in 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch course for Academic Session 2021-22.
Minimum 50% marks in XII Std. or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/ University/ Council.
Minimum 60% marks in X Std & aggregate 60% marks in XII Std and minimum 60% in Physics Chemistry Maths English/Physics Maths Bio English/Physics Maths English Computer.
Minimum 50% marks in XII Std with Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Bio/ Bio-Science.
Minimum 50% marks in XII Std. or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/ University/ Council with Physics, Chemistry & Maths as Mandatory Subjects. For B.Sc. (H)Chemistry (Physics, Chemistry & Bio is also eligible)
Minimum 50% marks in XII Std. with Mathematics or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council with Maths as Mandatory Subject.
Minimum 50% marks in XII Std. or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/ University/ Council.
Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with minimum 55% marks for general (open) category and 55% marks for students of SC and ST category.
Minimum 50% marks throughout in X Std, XII Std & Graduation with valid CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT score.
Passed BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Passed BSc / BCom / BA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Course as per the norms of the concerned University. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
